Dr. Shanbour and Dr. Wayman are the co-founders / medical directors for Omni Lux Med Spa. In addition to providing all patient services, they oversee the daily operations with the help of their dedicated staff. Both Doctors specialize in Obstetrics and Gynecological services and as advocates for minimally invasive surgeries including hormone replacement therapy, they began exploring the world of female and male aesthetics to fill the need for responsible, reliable, and well-educated medical spa practices.
MISTY WAYMAN, MD
Committed to a personal touch, Dr. Wayman promises a caring and honest approach to medicine. Her patients not only appreciate her outstanding ability as a physician, but also her unique personality. Obvious to her patients is the dedication to exceptional care.
The work ethic and values that are evident in Dr. Wayman's practice were developed at an early age working on the family farm in Nash, Oklahoma. She attended Oklahoma State University where she was named 'Outstanding Animal Science Senior" and went on to attend the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine, completing her medical degree in May of 2000.
The Ohio State University was Dr. Wayman's choice for residency. An opportunity to train with world-renowned faculty was an excellent choice for furthering her education. While in Columbus, she was given awards of excellence in endoscopic procedures and published research on infertility. Recruited by Ohio State University, Dr. Wayman chose to return home to family, friends and Oklahoma sunshine. She joined the Center for Women's Health July, 2004 and is certified by the American Board of OB/GYN.
Today a mother of three, Dr. Wayman understands the demands of women. Gracefully aging with her patients, Dr. Wayman has discovered unique ways to improve the lives of both men and women.
K. ANTHONY SHANBOUR, MD
Passionate about his practice of medicine and women’s health, Dr. Shanbour provides excellent care to his patients. His drive to be professional and sincere combined with top quality care are what make his patients continue to come back. Through his sharp eye, perfectionistic hand, and gracious attitude, Dr. Shanbour will be able to help you look and feel better.
For 29 years, Dr. Shanbour has been providing Obstetrics and Gynecological services in North Oklahoma City. His love of science started with his father who was a high school science teacher and coach. After playing one year of football for Oklahoma State University, he decided to put down the football and pick up late-night study hours in his pursuit to go to medical school. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1984 with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Shanbour went on to obtain his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1988.
During his years in medical school, he was inspired by the birth of his first child to become an OB/GYN. Dr. Shanbour, to this day, feels privileged to be able to bring such joy to the families he serves. For his residency, Dr. Shanbour was able to stay home with his new family and complete his training at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center.
With a growing family of five children and seven grandchildren, Dr. and Mrs. Shanbour enjoy quality family time, attending sporting events, and traveling the world.
TEAGAN DORSEY, APRN-CNP
Teagan is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse working in the field of aesthetics for over four years. Prior to aesthetics, she worked in primary care. Teagan understands the importance of comprehensive wellness and invests time into helping others look at all aspects of health. This is why you will find her not only providing aesthetic services but also providing hormone replacement and vitamin therapies.
What sets Teagan apart from others in the aesthetic world is the pride she takes in making individualized treatment plans. She spends time listening to and sharing knowledge with her clients. Teagan is continuously researching the newest products, procedures, and techniques to ensure her clients get only the best treatment results.
Teagan loves to help, educate, and empower others. She looks forward to walking along side her clients and witnessing their confidence and self love blossom to meet any challenge they are faced with in life.
JACQUELINE SHANBOUR
Jacqueline has been part of the Omni Lux Team since 2021. Her passion for the skincare industry started as a teenager while playing sports when she struggled with hormone and stress breakouts. Ever since, she has immersed herself in the field of health, wellness, and esthetic best-practices to keep herself and her clients happy and living their best life.
As an Esthetician and Eyelash Extension Artist, Jaqueline focuses primarily on the face. She specializes in customized luxury facials for each skin type and lash extensions of different lengths. She is also one of Omni Lux's trained Laser Technicians who can provide services that treat unwanted hair and tattoos as well as services to brighten, smooth, and clear the skin.
Jacqueline cares deeply about her client's quality of life. She looks forward to seeing the smiles on her client's faces after they have achieved their personal esthetic and health goals.
In Jacqueline's spare time she continues her personal health and wellness goals by staying active through going to the gym and running after her many nieces and nephews. She also enjoys traveling, reading scripture, and spending time with family, friends, and her fur-baby, Stella.
